About Society for Allied Health and Healthcare Professions Education and Research (AHAHPER)

The Society for Allied Health and Healthcare Professions Education and Research (AHAHPER) was established in 2021. It is a registered National non-governmental organisation with following objectives:

The main purpose of AHAHPER is to improve the quality of allied health and health care health professions education in India.

With the face-2-face interactions increasing, AHAHPER decided to move forward with implementation of its objectives of fostering collaborations in healthcare.

So far various programmes have been held in the Era University under aegis of this society. This year the AHAHPER ventures to organise a national level conference to bring various allied health care professionals on one platform. We welcome you all to the National Conference of ---------. This year our theme is ‘Together for Health’.

Membership to AHAHPER will be granted upon application and payment of membership dues. It accepts only life membership as Rs 1000/- from the faculty of allied health science and health care professionals. Postgraduate students can also become life member on paying Rs.--- . INTRODUCTION

Lucknow the capital of Uttar Pradesh, extends along the banks of the river Gomti.The creator of Lucknow as it is today was Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula.The city became known as a centre for Urdu poetry and courtly diction, and reached its zenith during the reign of Wajid Ali Shah who was a connoisseur of music and poetry.

It was during his reign that the British appropriate Awadh.Today the city id dotted with remnants of its rich historic past.Lucknow is also known for its elaborate cuisine and "Chikankaari" or exquisite shadow work embroidery on fine muslin cloth. This is also popularly referred as "City of Nawabs".

FESTIVAL

Lucknow Mahotsav - This is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in Lucknow during the months of November - December. This festival is celebrated for a period of ten days and it mainly showcases the culture, heritage, arts and cuisines of the people of this state. The whole city is filled with enthusiasm and joy during the Lucknow Mahotsav.

Vrindavan Sharadotsav - This festival is dedicated to Lord Krishna and it falls in the month of October.Vrindavan Sharadotsav is celebrated in the nearby town of Lucknow named Vrindavan.The temple is fully decorated on this day and people from different parts of the state visit this temple and offer their prayers. Other common festivals celebrated in Luknow include Holi, Diwali, Dussehra and Eid.
