Welcome to the Physiotherapy Department!
As the Head of Department, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated and passionate physiotherapists, educators, and researchers who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing the field of physiotherapy through research, and educating the next generation of physiotherapy professionals.
Our department is built on a foundation of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. We strive to provide patient-centered care that is grounded in evidence-based practice, and to foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect for all individuals.
Our goal is to:

Name of the programme: Diploma In Physiotherapy
Eligibility:

  • 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by any Board with minimum 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology.
  • He/she has to furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner and two references from persons other than relatives testifying to satisfactory general character.
  • Admission to Diploma in physiotherapy course shall be made on the basis of entrance exam including written test and interview conducted for the purpose. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she has appeared in the entrance exam.

No. of Seats: 40
Course Duration: 2 Years
Objective/Outcomes(PO’s,PSO): View

Name of the programme: Bachelor In Physiotherapy
Eligibility:
  • He/she must have passed the 12th recognized by central/state examination board with 50% pass marks with physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects.
  • He/she has to furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner and two references from persons other than relatives testifying to satisfactory general character.
  • Admission to Bachelor of physiotherapy course shall be made on the basis of entrance exam including written test and interview conducted for the purpose. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she has appeared in the entrance exam.

Course Duration: 4.5 Years (8 Semesters + 6 Months Internship)

Name of the programme: Master In Physiotherapy
Eligibility:
  • The candidate must have passed the Bachelor of physiotherapy recognized by any University with 50% pass marks.
  • He/she has to furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner and two references from persons other than relatives testifying to satisfactory general character.
  • Admission to Master of physiotherapy course shall be made on the basis of entrance exam including written test and interview conducted for the purpose. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she has appeared in the entrance exam.

Course Duration: 4 Semesters / 2 Years

Name of the programme: Ph. D In Physiotherapy
Eligibility:
  • The candidate must have passed the Master of physiotherapy recognized by any University with 55% pass marks.
  • He/she has to furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner and two references from persons other than relatives testifying to satisfactory general character.
  • Admission to Ph.D in physiotherapy course shall be made on the basis of entrance exam including written test and interview conducted for the purpose. No candidate will be admitted on any ground unless he/she has appeared in the entrance exam.
