The Urology Unit was started on 2nd January 2015 with faculty Dr. Jitendra Pratap Singh [M.S (I.M.S, B.H.U), M.Ch. Urology & P.G Institute Kolkata].
Since the inception of the department, the number of O.P.D patients has increased from 2 to 70 per day. The OPD is running on all working days. Elective Urological Surgeries such as Endourology and Laparoscopy are performed on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Various research works are going on in collaboration with the Department of Surgery.
