Rheumatology OPD Clinic was Vice-Chancellor on 13th August 2019 by Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Vice-Chancellor. The Clinic will run under the supervision of Prof. Siddhartha Kumar Das on every Tuesday and Thursday.
It may be pointed out here that recently Era University has established the Department of Rheumatology at Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital where it is planned to start the D.M. Course within the next two years.
Prof. S.K. Das has joined Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital as Professor & Head in the Department of Rheumatology. Earlier Prof. Das worked as Professor & Head in Department of Rheumatology at King George's Medical University, Lucknow. He established the Department of Rheumatology of KGMU.
On this occasion Medical Superintendent - Col. Arvind Kumar, Deputy Medical Superintendent - Dr. Khalid Shamsi, and Prof. Zeba Siddiqui, Department of Medicine were also present.
