National Mathematics Day is celebrated on 22nd December to pay tribute to renowned Indian Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. To mark this day, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Era University organized a Quiz Competition on the theme “Life history of Srinivasa Ramanujan and his contribution in the field of Mathematics” along with a Poster Presentation Competition on the topic “Use of Mathematics in Daily Life.” Head, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dr. Sheeba Rizvi happily mentioned that more than 50 students participated in both the competitions. Co-coordinators of the competitions Dr. Toukeer Khan, Dr. Abdul Quddoos, Dr. Nazia Naqvi and Ms. Hershika Verma bought the event to a great success and conveyed their best wishes to the winners including the participants. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Farzana Mahdi also appreciated the efforts of students and encouraged them to perform their best.
