Independence Day was a celebration at the Era University with much fanfare and gaiety. The National Flag was hoisted by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi on the occasion. Thereafter devotional songs were presented by the students. Prof. Mahdi delivered his speech highlighting the significance of the day and achievements made by the country during the last 72 years as also by the Era University during last one year.
