Professor Shahabuddin Khan, Director of the Pathophysiology Core Facility, Translational Research Institute, Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar, delivered a lecture on the participation of JNK pathway in cancer development. He further provided insights on how natural herb "˜sangurine' can mitigate the effect of JNK pathway in carcinoma. Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Ex- Vice-Chancellor, Era University was the chief guest for the program. The talk was attended by several faculties, M.D.s and undergraduate students. The guest lecture was organized by the Department of Stem Cell Biology & Regenerative Medicine.
