70th Republic Day celebrations were held on 26th January 2019 at the University. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi unfurled the national flag. The function was graced by Mr. M.H. Rizvi, Prof. Anu Chandra, Prof. M.S. Siddiqui, Dr. Khalid M. Shamsi amongst other large numbers of faculty members, staff and students.
Sports Day prize distribution was also held on the occasion. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor distributed prizes to the award winners.
