A 'Gurukul' teaching programme was organized by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow on December 21, 2018, under the auspices of the Lucknow Menopause Society. The occasion was graced by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor and Dr. M.M.A Faridi, Principal, Era's Lucknow Medical College. It was an academic extravaganza, throwing light on the minutest detail and attribute of the clinical consideration and management of menopause. The programme was graced by eminent doctors of Lucknow. Prof. Yashodhara Pradeep, Prof. Kumkum Srivastava, Prof. H.P. Gupta, Prof. Shipra Kunwar and Dr. Bina Tandon to name a few. The teaching programme was very informative. It summarized the already available knowledge-base on the topic and controversies on it, all under one roof and hence, was highly appreciated by the faculty, senior residents, postgraduate and undergraduate students.
