Era University celebrated the 78th Independence Day of India on 15th August, 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm. Prof. (Dr.) Abbas Ali Mahdi, Vice Chancellor, Era University, Lucknow hoisted the national flag followed by the National Anthem.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Mahdi provided an overview of the progress achieved by our country since independence in education, medical and health sector. He also mentioned about the accomplishments of Era University in terms of the achievements of Placement Cell and Happiness Department. He mentioned about various national and international MoU’s signed by Era University including that with Russian and Uzbekistan Universities. He also spoke about new Ph.D. and Master program which the University will be starting this year. Prof. Mahdi said that Era Hospital has been accredited by NABH and now new facilities like new Private Wards, Modular OTs are going to be functional soon. He said, we plan to further expand Cardiology and Cardiothoracic departments, Prof. Mahdi said that Cancer treatment facilities and Kidney transplant is planned to be started very soon.
