Department of Food and Nutrition at Era University conducted an
“International Symposium on Professional Attributes for Clinical
Practices and Aspiring Dieticians” on 29th June 2024, Saturday,
between 10.00 IST and -02.00 IST.
The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Abbas Ali
Mahdi and Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr Farzana Mahdi along with assistant
Registrar Dr. Ghazala Zaidi and Mrs. Rama Tripathi, Chief Dietitian
and Chief guest from SGPGI, Lucknow. Dean, Faculty of Science Prof.
(Dr.) Arvind Kumar Srivastava opened the stage for participants and
guests to exchange views and knowledge. While HOD, Department of Food
and Nutrition, Dr. Kahkashan Parvin, shed light on the need for
awareness regarding bridging the gap between academic knowledge and professional responsibilities.
