A function was organized by Era University to welcome Prof. D. K. Gupta, Former Vice Chancellor, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow, Former General Secretary, National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Former Head of the Department, Pediatrics Surgery, AIIMS, New Delhi along with Prof. Dhavendra Kumar from the William Harvey, Research Institute, The London School of Medicine, Queen Mary University of London, U.K., Who is clinically acknowledged genetic and genomic clinician with special interests in clinical genetics and genomic medicine. They visited different facilities at Era University Including the skill Lab and performance innovation Centre and complimented Era University for making excellent progress during last couple of years of its establishment as also for establishing new facilities like Skill Laboratory, Animation Lab., Personalized Medicine Department., Molecular Diagnostic Lab. etc.
On this occasion Prof. D.K.Gupta was also felicitated with the lifetime achievement award of Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Era University Prof. (Dr.) Abbas Ali Mahdi in the presence of Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Farzana Mahdi, Prof. M.M.A Faridi, Dean (Emeritus), Prof. Sher Ali, Emeritus Professor, Prof. Jamal Masood, Principal, ELMCH, Prof. Anu Chandra, Registrar, Prof. Tasleem Raza, Controller of Examination amongst others.
