Debate competition was organized by the Department of Happiness headed by Prof. Meeta Ghosh. Dr. Farha Bano facilitated the program in the Mini Auditorium at Era University on January 21, 2020.
Students of B.Sc.Nursing, 1st year and BPT 3rd and 4th year took part in the debate session on the topic, "Success is more Important than Happiness". Altogether twenty speakers participated, 10 from B.Sc. Nursing and 10 from BPT respectively.
Some speakers discussed for the motion and some against the motion. The session was highly appreciated by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Farzana Mahdi. She motivated the students further by her thought-provoking address.
The debate competition was judged by Prof. R.K. Dixit, an external judge and Dr. RupaliMirza, an internal judge. Mariyam, Anjani Gupta, InayatZainab, MirzaShahnawaz, Ananya and Suraksha were announced and appreciated as the best speakers at the event.
