National Conference on Sustainable Environment: Challenges and Opportunities by School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Era University, Lucknow.
The 2-day National Conference on Sustainable Environment: Challenges and Opportunities was held on 29th and 30th August, 2022 organized by School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Era University, Lucknow. The inaugural session of the conference initiated with the lamp lighting by the dignitaries: The Registrar, Prof. Anu Chandra, Prof. Rana Pratap Singh, the Chief Guest, Department of Environmental Science, B. B. Ambedkar University, Lucknow, the Guest of Honour, Prof. Monowar Alam Khalid, Head, Department of Environmental Science, Integral University, Lucknow, and also the guest of Honour, Dr. Mohd. Sajid Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Dr. Sheeba Rizvi, Convener and Head, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Era University.
The Hon’ble dignitaries on stage addressed the audience, subsequently followed by the Vote of thanks by Ms. Swati Joshi. Prof. Advisor to the hon’ble vice chancellor Prof. Uma Narayan, while addressing gave serious note on depletion of the natural resources and challenges for present and future generations.
The conference reiterated the ever-increasing need to protect the environment and preservation of natural resources.
In the
valedictory session Dr. Sheeba Rizvi congratulated co conveners of the conference Dr. Mannal Zahera and Dr. Swati Sachdev, organizing secretory Dr. Ghazala Zaidi, Dr. Rupali Mirza, Dr. Madhu Pandey, treasurer Ms. Hershika Verma and organizing committee Dr. Taukeer Khan, Dr. Samreen Naqvi, Dr. Shazia Fatima, Mr. Saurabh Tiwari, Ms. Sayeda Saleha Jafri, Ms. Swati Joshi and Ms. Iffat Jahan for successful completion of the national conference. She also extended her gratitude towards Invited guests, participants and students for enthusiastic participation.
