Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Government of Uttar Pradesh Dr. Dinesh Sharma visited the University on 26th October 2018 and inaugurated "Research Methodology Workshop". The Workshop was organized under Era University & Rutgers University (USA) MOU Program.
Amongst others present on the occasion were Hon'ble Chancellor Mr. Mohsin Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Dr. Debabrata Benerjee, Asstt. Dean, Rutgers University, USA, Prof. A. N. Srivastava, Director of Research, Prof. Mastan Singh, Dean, Basic Medical Sciences and Prof. M.M.A. Faridi, Principal & Dean, Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital.

Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma addressing the gathering appreciated the use of latest teaching and training methodology at the Era University and he said that he was highly impressed by the latest innovative digital 3D Animation and use of Medical Games to achieve expertise in the skills acquisition of Medical students. He said that the use of these teaching methodologies would ultimately help the medical students in skill acquisition for the better future of India in Medical Sciences.
Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma also appreciated the vision of Era University; spoke about the phenomenal success of the overseas Medical School i.e. the American University of Barbados. He was also impressed by the publication of a number of quality research works.
Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Vice-Chancellor, Era University welcomed the Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and briefed about the University achievements. Dr. Debabarata Banerjee also addressed the gathering on the occasion. At the end of the program, Prof. M.M.A. Faridi proposed a vote of thanks. Dr. Mrinal Ranjan Srivastava conducted the program and Prof. Sharique Ahmad, Professor, Department of Pathology demonstrated various facilities available at the Medical Innovation Department to the distinguished dignitaries.
