The Department of Optometry, Era University celebrated "World Optometry Day" on 28th March 2019 at the premises of Eye OPD under the supervision of HOD, Department of Ophthalmology Prof. Pragati Garg. The objective of this event was to spread awareness on various eye disorders and their early detection, especially those relating to refractive errors and eye ailments among patients. Various posters were put on the walls of eye OPD and interactive sessions were held with patients. The skit was also performed by optometry students. Dr. Mrinal Ranjan Srivastava, Associate Prof. Dept of Community Medicine was also present on this occasion and he appreciated the students for organizing such type of awareness programme. At the end of the programme Mrs. Ragni Mishra, Assistant Professor, Dept of Optometry and Mr.Ali Saeed proposed a vote of thanks.
