The Era Hospital, Era University organized a Guest Lecture on “Disaster Management” which was delivered by Col. (Dr.) S. Shukla, Senior Directing Staff, Officer Training College, AMC Centre & College, Lucknow. The lecture was organized for imparting training to the Junior Residents, Staff Nurses, Technicians, administrative staff, Security Guards, Aaya and ward boys. The programme was attended by large number of participants. While conducting the programme Col. Shukla explained how to handle various difficult emergency situations in the hospital giving an example of recent Covid – 19 pandemic.
Mr. Kuldeep Singh conducted the prorgamme which started by the welcome address by Brigadier (Dr.) S. Basu. Speaking on the occasion Vice Chancellor of Era University Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi thanked Col. Shukla for conducting the programme for the benefit of the Era University. He said that Disaster Management is very important component of any Hospital and we must always be prepared to handle unforeseen circumstances. He said for this purpose training of the students and staff is very important.
