A two day 15th National Conference in Health Professions Education (NCHPE)-2024 is being organized by Era University and Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital under the aegis of Academy of Health Professions Education and supported by Foundation for Advancement in Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), a Division of Intealth, Philadelphia, USA on 22nd and 23rd November 2024 at Era's Lucknow Medical College & Hospital, Era University, Lucknow. This year's theme, "Empowering Health Professions Education: Innovations, Collaborations, and Patient Safety" will bring together healthcare professionals, educators, and researchers to share best practices and innovations in health professions education. While a section of the conference will deal with patient safety, the Vice Chancellor's conclave will elaborate on the University initiatives for millennial health care professionals, a session on inter-professional collaboration and competency-based education along with orations and key note addresses on varied topics, promise that the conference will be a mixed bag, trying to cater to many aspects of HPE. The conference features a stellar lineup of more than 50 speakers from India and abroad including Dr. Rashmi Vyas from USA, Prof. Janet Grant from U.K, Dr. Chetna Desai, President AHPE and Dr. Avinash Supe from Mumbai.
The conference will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Girdhar Gyani, Director General, Association of healthcare Providers (INDIA) in presence of Mr. Mohsin Ali Khan, Chancellor, Era University, Dr. Chetna Desai, President AHPE, and Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Vice Chancellor, Era University, Lucknow. Prof. Janet Grant from U.K, and Dr. Rashmi Vyas from USA, will be Guests of Honour during the inaugural function. Prof. Farzana Mahdi is the Organizing Secretary of the Conference NCHPE-24.
