Era college of pharmacy, Era University, celebrated “World Pharmacist Day” on 25th September 2021 by organizing different scientific programme.The theme of the World Pharmacist Day was "Pharmacy: Always trusted for your health". Pharmacist being an integral part of the healthcare system are responsible for the development, management and use of medication.
All the guests were welcomed with bouquets and accompanied with memento as token of thanks. The programme commenced with the inaugural speech of Dr. Mohini Chaurasia, Principal, Era college of pharmacy who emphasized on the role of pharmacists in India and globally.
The programme was presided over by Dr. Ali Ahmad, Dean, Era college of Pharmacy, who addressed the congregation, and discussed the development to the medicine from ancient times to the modern era. He described the role of pharmacist in developmental stages of pharmacy profession globally and congratulated the pharmacy students for serving the society.
Further, to create enthusiasm among the students, debate and extempore competition was organized by Ms. Azmat, Assistant Professor, Era college of Pharmacy. Many students actively participated and three winners bagged the trophy and certificates.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Ms Azmat, Assistant professor, Era college of Pharmacy.
