Two days National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration of Laboratories (NABL)--Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisation (CAHO) Awareness program was hosted by Era University, Lucknow, on 16th and 17th December, 2023.
Prof. Farzana Mahdi, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor, Era University, Lucknow addressed the program with her encouraging words to all the participants. She gave emphasis on the importance of Quality in testing by Medical Laboratories. .
Ms. Syed Tahira Rizvi, Assistant Director NABL, Gurugram, Delhi was faculty for the program. She enlightened the participants on the latest version of ISO:15189:2022. She solved queries related to NABL accreditation of the participants. The participants were from various Accreditated Laboratories, Applicants Labs, and others who wish to go for NABL Accreditation in future. .
Around 100 participants from KGMU,SGPGIMS, RMLIMS, Era Medical College Hospital, Integral University, T.S. Mishra Medical College, Medanta Hospital, Apollo Medics Hospital, Sahara Hospital, Fatima Hospital, St.Joseph Hospital, Chandan Hospital, etc participated. .
This two days workshop was coordinated Dr. Fareya Haider (Department of Microbiology, ELMCH). The participants were encouraged to perform testing with quality as per ISO:15189:2022 requirements. The program was successfully conducted and concluded by distribution of NABL-CAHO certificates to all participants.
