Era University every year takes the privilege of celebrating International Women’s Day on March 08, 2022.The celebration of the achievements and the contribution of women in the Institution was celebrated by kindling the lamp of knowledge and wisdom by the honorable chief- guest Ms. Sabra Habib, Prof. of Russian at University of Lucknow, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh along with the honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Farzana Mehdi, Prof. Anu Chandra, Registrar, Asst. Registrar Dr. Ghazala Zaidi, and Dr. Sheeba Rizvi, the Head of School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Era University.
On this auspicious occasion, seventy-one female staff working from 2008 to 2011 were felicitated by the Chief Guest Prof. Sabra Habib followed by her motivational and inspiring speech, she inspired and encouraged all the women to keep excelling consistently and to keep moving in life all the time. Ms. Syeda Saleha Jafri hosted the event; the charm of the event was enhanced by the presence of all the heads and faculties of different departments of Era University. Dr. Sheeba Rizvi and Ms. Swati Joshi made the event entertaining by presenting a beautiful song. The next take of the event was the game "Guess the name" by which Ms. Hansa Johari and student Mariyam Iman engaged the audience. Honorable Vice-Chancellor congratulated everyone for the successful conduction of the event.
