The concept of
Eklavya kakshayen is derived from the legendry archery Eklavya, a character from the Indian epic Mahabharata, embodies determination and sacrifice. A prince of the Nishadha tribe, he sought archery training from Dronacharya, who was one of the greatest archery Gurus of India and the teacher of the entire Kuru dynasty. Eklavya installed a clay idol of Dronacharya under a tree that he worshiped as his Guru and mastered archery on his own by self learning, surpassing even Dronacharya's favorite disciple, Arjuna.
