World Thyroid Day was celebrated on 25th May 2022 by the department of Medicine, Era University under the initiative ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ by the Government of India. It began with inauguration of free thyroid screening camp for students and employees of EU followed by scientific program where various aspects of thyroid diseases were discussed. A quiz and poster competition was also organized for medical residents to increase thyroid awareness. Renowned national faculty Dr. Anuj Maheshwari and Dr. Narsingh Verma shared their views about latest developments in thyroid disorders. The meeting was well attended by faculty members and students. Organizers included Dr. Jalees Fatima, Dr. Zeba Siddiqi, Dr. Vaibhav Shukla, Dr. Devender Kumar , Dr. Divyansh from the department of Medicine.
