Era University observed Ali Day on March 7, 2020. The program was organized by the students. Maulana Ali Ameer Rizvi, Head of an Educational Organization "˜Deen-Aur-Hum', delivered a lecture on "˜Maula Ali as a role model'. He highlighted the characteristics and habits of Maula Imam Ali as well as his style of life which made him the symbol of "˜Justice and Spirituality'. His actions inspired the non-believers as he inspired and showed the way to attain the most desirable things in life; justice and spirituality to attain happiness in life. Justice in his view was to place everything in its rightful place.
Dr. Zeeshan Ali Kazmi, another orator emphasized following the characteristics of Maula Ali, who was also known for his universal knowledge and humility.
Maulana Agha Akhtar John Sahele delivered a speech on the topic "Science and Islam". He enlightened the audience on the amalgam of Science and Islam and emphasized the fact that truly great personalities live forever as an inspiration, and knowing the true character of Maula Ali will lead to many solutions of today's human conflicts.
This celebration was done with the distribution of sweets and cutting of cakes. The speakers were also felicitated on this day.
