On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, Era University hosted its first convocation on campus in Lucknow. Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The University's Chancellor, Mr. Mohsin Ali Khan, presided over the event. Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi delivered the annual report, highlighting the varsity’s mission on providing students with top-notch education and the best healthcare at affordable prices. Guest of Honor, Shri Yogendra Upadhyaya, Hon'ble Minister of Higher Education. Science & Technology and Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, and Dr. Girdhar Gyani, Director General, Association of Healthcare Providers (India), were also present on the occasion. 507 graduates including 197 in Medicine, 107 in Allied Health Sciences, 113 in Nursing, 30 in Pharmacy, and 107 in Science received degrees. In addition 25 Anganwadi workers and 25 government school girls also received awards from the governor. The convocation was a grand event for all graduates who received their coveted degrees, the present parents and guardians, and all distinguished guests.
