Department of Liberal Education in collaboration with Department of Happiness, Era University, Lucknow organized a guest lecture on the topic “To choose and not to choose” for students and faculty members of Era University on 1st may 2024. The guest speaker of the day was Dr. Amrita Das, Founder Director, Institute of Career Studies, Lucknow. The program started with the welcome address by Prof. Meeta Ghosh, Head, Department of Happiness followed by the address of Dr. Sheeba Rizvi, Head, Department of Liberal Education, where she provided the glimpse of the department of Liberal Education. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi in his address shared the words of wisdom with the audience and appreciated the efforts of Department of Liberal Education in creating revolution in higher education. Dr. Amrita Das in her address applauded Era University for being the first university in Uttar Pradesh starting Department of Liberal Education as well as Department of Happiness. In her address she guided students to make right conscious choice at each step of life to be contained and happy.
