Department of Cardiac Sciences, Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Era University, Lucknow organized a one day International Symposium on “Congenital Heart Diseases” on 15th February 2025 for students and faculty members of Era University with the aim to enhance awareness, understanding, and advancing treatment strategies for Congenital Heart Diseases. The symposium brought together medical professionals, scientists and researchers on one platform to discuss the latest advances in diagnosis, treatment, and support for children affected by CHD. The key note speaker was Dr. Pieter Van De Woestijne, Professor, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Erasmus University Medical Centre, Erasmus MC, The Netherlands. This Guest lecture was organized as a part of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Era University and Erasmus University Medical Centre, Erasmus MC, The Netherlands. Dr. Khalid Iqbal, Professor, Department of CTVS, and Dr. Abhinav Agarwal, Department of Paediatrics, Era University will visit Erasmus MC, The Netherlands for training in Congenital Heart Disease later this year.
