College of Nursing organized a student training programme, under the guidance of Principal of Nursing College Lt. Col. (Ms.) Rina Bhowal. It was basically for creating Public Awareness about various public health-related issues as also to educate the masses about various Government schemes available for the benefit of people.
Students displayed their work in an exhibition, which was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi. There were numerous presentations of various audio-visual aids, posters, models, puppet show and "Nukkad Natak" to educate the masses about women health related issues as also about social problems like the use of drugs and alcohol and their adverse effect on human health and well being. Best performers were awarded by the University with cash prizes.
