Era College of Nursing organized a "Health Mela" on the of the eve of "World Health Day" on 5th April 2019 at the University Lawn with a catchy theme of "LIVE RIGHT BE BRIGHT".
Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Mahdi inaugurated the "Health Mela". Present on the occasion were Registrar Prof. (Mrs.) Anu Chandra, Dr. Mrinal Srivastava, Dr. Gazala Zaidi, Dr. Mohini Chaurasia amongst a large number of faculty and students.
It was a Health awareness program in which the public was educated about healthy lifestyle, lifestyle diseases, the role of alternative medicine including Yoga.
Poster competition and essay competition were also organized on the occasion. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor gave away the prizes to the winners of Poster & Essay competition. He has complimented the Principal Lt. Col. Rina Bhowal and the entire Faculty & Students of Era College of Nursing for organizing the Health Mela.
